Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Myers.
I am the founder of Taboo Editing Services, a company created to enhance killer stories.
I have an MFA in Creative Writing, a Professional Writing certificate, and an obsession with stories that hit hard and haunt me long after they’re finished. My goal is to dig into the bones of your book to help amplify every twisted component to ensure you are left with a razor-sharp narrative. I am not here to tame your voice, but rather to weaponize it.

Who am I outside of Taboo?
When I am not editing, writing, or reading, I have a beautifully chaotic and normal life. My two step-sons are right in the horrifying part of adolescence where they are approaching adulthood without the common sense that should accompany an adult. My daughter, a toddler and head of the house, seems to develop her attitude and ability to express her love in tandem with one another, providing my husband and me with endless and exhausting entertainment and abundantly full hearts. Her side kick, Lizzy, our not-so-mini Australian Shepherd, does absolutely nothing to keep her or the boys in check but does offer us halfhearted emotional support.
My husband and I are right at the stage where sleeping in looks like a 7 a.m. wake-up call and nothing is more exciting than cancelled plans and a good Crumbl cookie line-up. In rare, quiet moments we play video games together, binge trash TV shows, or tackle the latest hit horror movie.
